Drawing upon humor for a change

a. What according to you is the central idea of the speech ?
In the speach, Liza Donelly explain to us that women are governs by conventions, rules, thing that they must do. She think that humor can change this situation and use cartoons, a simple way to read something with sarcastic or humoristic language. Plus, she refers at her life and shows us a part of her life and why she thnik than
humor + woman = change.

b. Do you agree with it ?
If we place the women at the center, I agree with Liza Donnelly : women who can joke of their situation could change the preconceived ideas of some people. But in fact, it's not also simple. Indeed, there are some countries, like France, where the model of the perfect women has change over the years : today, they are not any more confined at home and could go work. On the other hand, there are lot of cultures in the world and they are so different that we can't say humor can apport a changement.

c. Would you agree with Donnelly when she says that the sense of humor changes according to one's culture ?
As say previously, there are lot of cultures in the world. So, the sense of humor couldn't according to one's culture. It sure that certain lines can meet like France and England, or USA and England... but they are particularities in french humor, english humor... Also The Simpsons are successfull in USA and France, they haven't the same impact in Japan.
And The British humour is a somewhat general term applied to certain comedic motifs that are often prevalent in comedic acts originating in the United Kingdom and its current or former colonies. Comedy acts and television programmes typical of British humour include Monty Pithon, Benny Hill...
So, I don't think that humor can change the world because it's employed before a long time and some rules are always the same.

Cool places to houng out in Grenoble

Grenoble isn't a big city : the most interesting is at the Centre Ville and it was just some streets but in thise sector there are pubs like The London pub : “ It’s great, it’s fun and pure Rock and roll ! “.

At this, there is a lot of stranger students - English people, the Spanish, the German, Italian people... - and you can drink (alcohol or not), dance, see your friends... Whatever you want ! To go to this place, it's simple : you take the B tram at Notre-Dame Musée or Sainte-Claire, les Halles. If you do the first, you grow up the tram and go to your left at 11 Rue de la Brocherie. You will see that this is a cool place even if it's smally. If you do the second proposal, you turn on your right. These are the direction only if your tram come to Gière Plaine des Sports because if the take it from Cité Internationale, you must inverse the direction (lugh).

Ah ! Two nights in a week, The London organize "Soirée Lady's night" and you not pay if you're a girl !

So, I hope this pub can interest you for the fun and the ambiance because it's a very good place : the music is cool, there is a floor, the employers are communicated and efficacy.

Of course there are more interesting places at Grenoble but you must go here, like L'art-ti-cho, SOS Apéro, Decitre, La table ronde...
